The challenge
A.S. Clearing & Forwarding needed to move a freight and customs clearance workflow away from spreadsheet quoting, chat-based approvals, and disconnected booking handoffs.
Sales team members were building rate cards manually for every quote. Senior approval was happening informally. When clients asked for revisions, threads got lost. There was no single version of the truth.
What we built
A purpose-built multi-tenant CRM and quotation platform, designed around the actual workflow of a freight forwarder, not a generic sales tool.
- Multi-tenant SaaS CRM with role-based access (Admin, Sr. Sales, Sales)
- Rate card management with margin controls and buy/sell price separation
- Quotation engine with multi-level approval workflows
- Client-facing public quote response links (accept / decline / negotiate)
- Booking management, status tracking, and PDF quote generation
- Company and contact directory with company-type classification
- Task management and internal handoff system
- Reporting dashboard with team performance and revenue metrics
- Workspace username/password access with role-based controls
The core shift: RFQs, rate cards, margin controls, approvals, client responses, booking conversion, and reporting now live in one workflow instead of separate files and message threads.
